Written by Craig O’Neill and directed by Pam Veasey. Fun Trivia #1: We shot in the American Horror Story season 1 house. My favorite season! Fun Trivia #2: I got to work with incredible industry veterans. A highlight was Jeff Lewis who played Vork in the Guild webseries (among MANY other credits). Being a gamer myself and having sunk hundreds of hours into World of Warcraft, it was an extra special treat to meet him. Fun Trivia #3: Growing up in Malaysia, my fam and I would huddle around the TV watching CSI, waiting for the Who to start the show. How magical that so many years later, I'm IN IT.     ⭐️ I made it to 110,000 subscribers on my YouT ⭐️ I made it to 110,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel! That’s more people that can fit in an NFL stadium 🤯 Here are some thoughts 😊 ✅ You don’t need to be the best at anything to shine. I am not the most entertaining, the most articulate, the most knowledgeable… but what has always set me apart is that I keep showing up. I am relentless. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have the discipline, I’m lazy, I procrastinate. But when others give up, I have the fortitude to keep doing it again and again. Even when it sucks. I’m on year 3 of my YouTube journey and for some, that’s a short time to reach 110k subs. But for a full year I was posting 2 (10-15 min) videos every WEEK. Each video taking 10+ hours to produce, all while not getting paid for this work. I saw the positive impact it had in other ways. I trusted the payoff will come later. Most people don’t have that faith. ✅ The only way to fail is when you decide it’s over. In the first year, I worked with 3 renowned YouTube strategists. Each one had drama that resulted in us parting ways. These people did not respect my leadership, my team or my systems. They were incapable of doing their jobs well and on time, uncommunicative and basically children. Every time there was a problem, it was a YouTube problem. The videos I produced in the first year are far from perfect. But they got done anyway. I never missed a video despite the bumps. I never once thought of quitting because I went into YouTube expecting it to be a multi year journey. Quitting is valid in some cases, but most people quit prematurely. ✅ Always anchor what you do with purpose and you will build fortitude. Showing up and doing good work consistently beats one hit wonders. I was never the girl that was the fastest or smartest at anything but I always get there eventually. It brings me so much fulfillment, seeing how my videos impact literally millions of people and change lives is what keeps me doing this. To be honest I wasn’t any happier when I received my silver award. It’s not about the final destination. I check my stats every few days. I knew I was going to get there. Enjoy the journey and success becomes inevitable.
